Control which social sets each team member can access. This is especially useful for agencies managing multiple clients—each team member sees only the accounts they’re responsible for.
Why Restrict Access?
Restricting social set access helps you:
- Protect client data: Team members only see accounts they manage
- Reduce confusion: Fewer accounts means less chance of posting to the wrong profile
- Maintain confidentiality: Sensitive client information stays private
- Simplify workflows: Team members focus on their assigned accounts
Configuring Social Set Access
When Inviting a New Member
- Go to Account Settings → Team Members
- Click Invite new user
- Enter their email and configure permissions
- In the Social Sets section, choose one of:
- All social sets: Access to all current and future sets
- Specific sets: Select only the sets they need
- Send the invitation

For Existing Members
- Go to Account Settings → Team Members
- Click on the team member
- Scroll to the Social Sets section
- Update their access
- Save changes
Changes take effect immediately—the team member’s view updates on their next page load.
What Restricted Members See
When a team member is restricted to specific social sets:
- Social set switcher: Shows only their assigned sets
- Calendar/list view: Shows posts only from their sets
- Channel selector: Shows only profiles in their sets
- Analytics: Shows data only for their assigned profiles
They can’t see or access any social sets not assigned to them.
Use Cases
Agency with Multiple Clients
Create a social set for each client. Assign team members to only their client’s set. Each team member sees only the accounts they manage.
In-House Team with Departments
Create social sets by department (Marketing, Sales, HR). Restrict each department’s content creators to their team’s accounts.
Freelancer Access
Add freelancers with access to only the specific project or client they’re working on. When the project ends, remove their access.
Client Review Access
Give clients view-only access to their own social set so they can review scheduled content without seeing other accounts.
