Photo Attribution
Viraly automatically adds photographer attribution to your bio page when you use an Unsplash image. This appears at the bottom of your page with a link to the photographer’s profile.

Hiding Attribution
While Unsplash doesn’t require attribution, we recommend keeping it to support photographers. If you need to hide it:
- Go to your bio page settings

Tips for Great Backgrounds
Choose Images That Don’t Compete
Your background should enhance your content, not distract from it. Look for:
- Simple compositions: Avoid busy images with lots of detail
- Soft colors: Muted tones work better than bright, saturated colors
- Gradients and blurs: These create depth without distraction
- Negative space: Images with open areas let your content breathe
Consider Text Readability
- Dark backgrounds work well with light text
- Light backgrounds need dark text
- Adjust your text colors after choosing a background
- Test on mobile—backgrounds may crop differently
Match Your Brand
- Search for images that match your brand colors
- Keep consistent with your other social profiles
- Consider seasonal updates for timely content
