Connecting Meta Pixel to Your Bio Page

Add Meta Pixel to your Link in Bio page to track visitor actions, build retargeting audiences, and measure the effectiveness of your Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns.

What is Meta Pixel?

Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) is a piece of code that tracks visitor activity on your bio page. With Meta Pixel connected, you can:

  • Track conversions: See how many people visit your bio page from ads
  • Build audiences: Create retargeting audiences of bio page visitors
  • Optimize ads: Let Meta optimize ad delivery for people likely to take action
  • Measure ROI: Understand which campaigns drive the most bio page engagement

Requirements

  • Viraly Plan: Influencer plan or higher
  • Meta Business Account: Access to Meta Events Manager
  • Meta Pixel: An existing pixel (or create one in Events Manager)

Finding Your Pixel ID

Your Pixel ID is a 15-16 digit number that identifies your specific pixel.

  1. Go to Meta Events Manager
  2. Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
  3. Select your pixel from the list
  4. Your Pixel ID is displayed at the top of the page

The Pixel ID looks like: 1234567890123456

Connecting Meta Pixel

There are two ways to connect Meta Pixel to your Link in Bio page:

Method 1: From the Link in Bio Editor

  1. Open your bio page in the Viraly editor
  2. Click Analytics in the left sidebar
  3. Click the Pixel Tracking tab
  4. Select the Meta Pixel tab
  5. Enter your Pixel ID in the input field
  6. Click Save Changes

Method 2: From API Integrations

  1. Click on your workspace dropdown in the top right corner
  2. Select API Integrations
  3. Go to the Analytics & Tracking tab
  4. Find Meta Pixel and click Connect
  5. Enter an Integration Name (e.g., “Meta Pixel Account”)
  6. Enter your Pixel ID
  7. Click Save Integration

Your Meta Pixel is now active on your bio page and will begin tracking visitor activity immediately.

Verifying Your Setup

To confirm Meta Pixel is working correctly:

Using Meta Pixel Helper

  1. Install the Meta Pixel Helper Chrome extension
  2. Visit your bio page
  3. Click the Pixel Helper icon in your browser
  4. Verify that your pixel fires PageView and ViewContent events

Using Events Manager

  1. Go to Meta Events Manager
  2. Select your pixel
  3. Click Test Events
  4. Enter your bio page URL
  5. Open your bio page in a new tab
  6. Check Events Manager for incoming events
