Connect Google Analytics 4 to your Link in Bio page to track visitor behavior, measure link clicks, and gain insights into how people interact with your bio page.
What is Google Analytics 4?
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is Google’s latest analytics platform that tracks user interactions across websites and apps. With GA4 connected to your bio page, you can:
- Track page views: See how many people visit your bio page
- Measure engagement: Understand how visitors interact with your links
- Analyze traffic sources: See where your visitors come from
- Understand your audience: Get demographics and interest data
- Create custom reports: Build reports specific to your needs
Requirements
- Viraly Plan: Influencer plan or higher
- Google Account: Access to Google Analytics
- GA4 Property: A GA4 property with a web data stream
Finding Your Measurement ID
Your Measurement ID starts with “G-” followed by alphanumeric characters.
- Go to Google Analytics
- Click the Admin gear icon (bottom left)
- In the Property column, click Data Streams
- Select your web data stream (or create one)
- Copy the Measurement ID (starts with G-)
The Measurement ID looks like: G-XXXXXXXXXX
Connecting Google Analytics 4
There are two ways to connect Google Analytics 4 to your Link in Bio page:
Method 1: From the Link in Bio Editor
- Open your bio page in the Viraly editor
- Click Analytics in the left sidebar
- Click the Pixel Tracking tab
- Select the Google Analytics 4 tab
- Enter your Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX)
- Click Save Changes

Method 2: From API Integrations
- Click on your workspace dropdown in the top right corner
- Select API Integrations
- Go to the Analytics & Tracking tab
- Find Google Analytics 4 and click Connect
- Enter an Integration Name (e.g., “Google Analytics 4 Account”)
- Enter your Measurement ID
- Click Save Integration


Google Analytics will begin collecting data from your bio page immediately.
Events Tracked
Viraly automatically sends these events to Google Analytics 4:
Page-Level Events

Every link click fires a click event with these parameters:

Viewing Your Data
Real-Time Reports
- Go to Google Analytics
- Click Reports in the left sidebar
- Select Realtime
- View active users on your bio page
Event Reports
- Go to Reports → Engagement → Events
- Find “click” events to see link click data
- Click an event to see detailed parameters
Creating Custom Reports
For more detailed analysis, create a custom exploration:
- Go to Explore in the left sidebar
- Create a new exploration
- Add dimensions: event_category, event_label
- Add metrics: Event count, Users
- Filter by page_location containing your bio page URL
