Social Media Connections
How do I connect my Facebook Business Page?
To connect your Facebook Business Page to Viraly:
- Go to Social Profiles in your Viraly dashboard
- Click Add Profile and select Facebook
- Log in to Facebook and grant the requested permissions
- Select your Business Page from the list
Troubleshooting: If your page doesn’t appear:
- Ensure you have Admin access to the page (not just Editor)
- Check that your page is connected to a Meta Business Suite
- Disconnect Viraly from your Facebook settings and reconnect
- Make sure you’re selecting “Pages” not “Profiles” during connection
Why does my Instagram keep disconnecting?
Instagram connections may require periodic re-authentication due to Meta’s security policies. To minimize disconnections:
- Ensure your Instagram is a Professional Account (Business or Creator)
- Your Instagram must be connected to a Facebook Page
- Don’t change your Instagram password frequently
- If you see a “400 Session Invalid” error, disconnect and reconnect your account
Can I post to my personal Facebook/LinkedIn profile?
Viraly supports Business Pages and Professional Accounts only due to platform API restrictions:
- Facebook: Business Pages only (not personal profiles)
- LinkedIn: Company Pages and personal profiles (with API access)
- Instagram: Professional accounts (Business or Creator) only
Why isn’t my YouTube Brand Account showing up?
When connecting YouTube, make sure to:
- Select your Brand Account during the Google sign-in process
- Look for the account switcher during authentication
- If only your personal channel appears, sign out of Google and reconnect, selecting the correct account
Posting & Scheduling
How do I tag other accounts in my posts?
Tagging capabilities vary by platform:
- Instagram: Type @ followed by the username – a dropdown will appear with suggestions
- Facebook: Tagging other pages is supported using the @ symbol
- LinkedIn: Use @ mentions for company pages and personal profiles
- X/Twitter: Use @ mentions as normal
Note: Some platforms have API limitations on tagging. If tags aren’t working, try posting natively for that specific post.
Can I add music to Instagram Reels or TikTok videos?
Unfortunately, adding music through third-party scheduling tools is not supported by Instagram or TikTok’s APIs. This is a platform limitation, not a Viraly limitation.
Workaround: Add music to your video using a video editing app before uploading to Viraly, or post Reels with music directly through the native Instagram app.
How many photos can I include in a carousel post?
- Instagram: Up to 10 photos/videos per carousel (platform limit)
- Facebook: Up to 10 photos/videos per carousel
- LinkedIn: Up to 20 images in document posts
Can I schedule recurring or repeating posts?
Currently, each post must be scheduled individually. For recurring content:
- Use the Duplicate feature to copy posts and adjust the date/time
- Consider creating templates in your Media Library for frequently used content
Why did my post fail to publish?
Common reasons for publishing failures:
- Insufficient memory: Your video file is too large – try compressing it
- Aspect ratio error: Video dimensions don’t meet platform requirements
- Session expired: Reconnect your social profile
- Content policy: The platform rejected the content
Check the error message in your Activity log for specific details.
What are the video requirements for each platform?
Instagram Reels: Aspect ratio 9:16 (vertical), Resolution 1080×1920 recommended, Duration 3-90 seconds
TikTok: Aspect ratio 9:16 (vertical), Duration up to 10 minutes
Facebook: Various aspect ratios supported, Duration up to 240 minutes
YouTube Shorts: Aspect ratio 9:16 (vertical), Duration up to 60 seconds
Features & Functionality
Is there a “Select All” option for posting to multiple accounts?
When creating a post, you can click on a Social Set name to select all accounts within that set at once. For selecting all accounts across multiple sets, click each set name.
Can I add a first comment to my posts?
Yes! Viraly supports first comments for Instagram posts. When creating your post:
- Look for the First Comment field below the caption
- Add your hashtags or additional text
- This will be posted as the first comment when your post publishes
Note: First comment is currently available for Instagram. X/Twitter first comment support is being evaluated.
Can Viraly post to Facebook Groups?
Viraly supports posting to Facebook Pages only. Facebook’s API does not allow third-party apps to post directly to Groups.
Does Viraly have an inbox for responding to comments and DMs?
Viraly focuses on content scheduling and analytics. For inbox management and responding to comments/DMs, we recommend using:
- Native platform apps
- Meta Business Suite for Facebook/Instagram
- Dedicated inbox management tools
Does Viraly have an Inbox Manager Tool?
Currently, we don’t have an inbox management system. However, we plan on launching this in early 2026.
Analytics & Reporting
Why are my analytics showing “Syncing in progress”?
Analytics may take up to 24-48 hours to fully sync, especially for:
- Newly connected accounts
- YouTube channels (longer sync times)
- Accounts with large amounts of historical data
If syncing takes longer than 48 hours, try disconnecting and reconnecting the account.
Can I export analytics reports as PDF?
Yes! To export your analytics:
- Go to Analytics in your dashboard
- Select the account and date range
- Click the Export button
- Choose PDF or CSV format

Does Viraly offer a free trial?
Viraly does not offer a free trial. However, we have a 14-day money back guarantee. If you’re unsatisfied for any reason, let us know and we can issue a full refund.
What counts as a “channel” in Viraly pricing?
A channel is one social media profile connection. For example:
- 1 Instagram account = 1 channel
- 1 Facebook Page = 1 channel
- 1 TikTok account = 1 channel
So if you have Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn for one brand, that’s 4 channels.
Do you offer non-profit discounts?
Yes! We offer a recurring 25% for non-profit organizations.

How many accounts can I have per Social Set?
The number of profiles per Social Set depends on your plan’s total channel limit. You can organize your channels into Social Sets however works best for your workflow – there’s no per-set limit.
Troubleshooting
My photos are appearing in the wrong order in carousel posts
If your carousel images are reordering after saving:
- Upload all images at once
- Use the drag-and-drop to arrange them
- Save and verify the order before scheduling
- If the issue persists, try uploading images one at a time in the desired order
The link preview isn’t showing an image
Link previews depend on the destination website having proper Open Graph meta tags. If no image appears:
- The website may not have OG tags configured
- Try refreshing the preview
- You can manually add an image to accompany your link
I’m getting “Request processing failed” errors
This usually indicates a temporary connection issue. Try:
- Refreshing the page
- Checking your internet connection
- Reconnecting the affected social profile
- If the issue persists, contact support with the specific error details
