Connect your Beehiiv account to Viraly to automatically sync email subscribers collected from your Link in Bio pages. When visitors submit your email form, they’re instantly added to your Beehiiv publication.

Beehiiv is a newsletter platform built for growth, offering powerful tools for monetization and audience building. With Viraly’s Beehiiv integration, you can:
Prerequisites
Before connecting Beehiiv, make sure you have:
- A Beehiiv account with at least one publication
- Your Beehiiv API key
- An Influencer plan or higher on Viraly (email collection requires a paid plan)
- A Link in Bio page where you want to collect emails
Finding Your API Key
To connect Beehiiv, you need your API key:
- Log into your Beehiiv account
- Click on Settings in the left sidebar
- Navigate to Integrations
- Find the API section
- Click Create New API Key (or copy an existing one)
- Give your key a name (e.g., “Viraly Integration”)
- Copy the generated API key
Important: Make sure your API key has the necessary permissions to create subscribers. Store your API key securely—it provides access to your Beehiiv account.
Connecting Beehiiv
Follow these steps to connect your Beehiiv account:
Step 1: Open Your Bio Page Editor
Navigate to Link In Bio and select the bio page you want to add email collection to. Click Edit to open the page editor.
Step 2: Find the Email Collection Section
In the editor, scroll to the Collect Emails section. Click to expand it.
Step 3: Select Integration
Click the Select Integration button. This opens a modal showing all available email marketing integrations.
Step 4: Choose Beehiiv
Find Beehiiv in the integration grid. If you haven’t connected Beehiiv before, click Connect.
Step 5: Enter Your API Key
In the integration form:
- Enter a name for this integration (e.g., “My Newsletter”)
- Paste your Beehiiv API key into the API Key field
- Click Fetch Lists to verify your credentials and load your publications
Selecting a Publication
After your API key is verified:
- A dropdown appears showing your Beehiiv publications
- Select the publication you want subscribers added to
- Click Save Integration
Your integration is now active. The selected publication name appears in green, confirming the connection is ready.
Multiple Publications
If you have multiple Beehiiv publications, you can create separate integrations for each one. This allows different bio pages to feed different newsletters.
What Gets Synced
When a visitor submits your email form, the following data is synced to Beehiiv:

Sync behavior:
- Subscribers are added in real-time when they submit the form
- If a subscriber already exists (matched by email), their information is updated
- Subscribers are added as “active” status by default
Troubleshooting
Invalid API Key Error
If you see “Invalid API key” or “Unauthorized”:
- Copy the API key again—ensure no extra spaces were added
- Check that the API key hasn’t been revoked in Beehiiv settings
- Verify the API key has subscriber creation permissions
- Try generating a new API key
No Publications Showing
If no publications appear when fetching:
- Log into Beehiiv and verify your publication is active
- Check that your API key has access to the publication
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting with a fresh API key
Subscribers Not Appearing
If subscribers don’t appear in your publication:
- Check that the integration is still connected (green badge showing)
- Verify the correct publication is selected
- Look in Beehiiv’s Audience section for new subscribers
- Check Beehiiv’s API logs if available
Rate Limiting
If you’re getting errors during high-traffic periods:
- Beehiiv may have API rate limits on your plan
- Subscribers are queued and will sync when limits reset
- Consider upgrading your Beehiiv plan for higher limits
