Connect your Kit account (formerly ConvertKit) to Viraly to automatically sync email subscribers collected from your Link in Bio pages. When visitors submit your email form, they’re instantly added to your chosen Kit form.
Overview
Kit (formerly ConvertKit) is an email marketing platform built for creators—bloggers, podcasters, YouTubers, and online course creators. With Viraly’s Kit integration, you can:
Prerequisites
Before connecting Kit, make sure you have:
- A Kit account with at least one form created
- An Influencer plan or higher on Viraly (email collection requires a paid plan)
- A Link in Bio page where you want to collect emails
Note: Kit uses OAuth for authentication, so you don’t need to find or copy any API keys manually.
Connecting Kit
Follow these steps to connect your Kit account:
Step 1: Open Your Bio Page Editor
Navigate to Link In Bio and select the bio page you want to add email collection to. Click Edit to open the page editor.
Step 2: Find the Email Collection Section
In the editor, scroll to the Collect Emails section. Click to expand it.

Step 3: Select Integration
Click the Select Integration button. This opens a modal showing all available email marketing integrations.

Step 4: Choose Kit
Find Kit in the integration grid. If you haven’t connected Kit before, click Connect.
Step 5: Authorize with Kit
A popup window opens directing you to Kit. Log in with your Kit credentials and authorize Viraly to access your account. You’ll be asked to grant permission to:
- View your forms and sequences
- Add subscribers to your forms
Click Authorize to complete the connection.

Step 6: Name Your Integration
After authorization, enter a name for this integration (e.g., “My Kit Account” or “Newsletter Signups”). This helps you identify it later.
Selecting a Form
After authorizing, select which Kit form will receive your subscribers:
- Click Fetch Lists to load your Kit forms
- A dropdown appears showing all available forms
- Select the form you want subscribers added to
- Click Save Integration
Your integration is now active. The selected form name appears in green, confirming the connection is ready.
Why Forms Instead of Tags?
Kit uses forms as the primary way to organize new subscribers. When someone subscribes through a form:
- They’re added to your Kit subscriber list
- Any automations linked to that form are triggered
- You can apply tags based on form submissions in Kit’s automation rules
What Gets Synced
When a visitor submits your email form, the following data is synced to Kit:
| Form Field | Kit Field | Required |
|---|---|---|
| Email Address | Yes | |
| Name | First Name | No (configurable) |
| Phone | Custom Field | No (configurable) |
Sync behavior:
- Subscribers are added in real-time when they submit the form
- If a subscriber already exists, they’re added to the selected form (triggering any linked automations)
- Form-based automations run automatically for new subscribers
Troubleshooting
Authorization Failed
If you see an error during authorization:
- Make sure you’re logged into the correct Kit account
- Check that popup windows are not blocked by your browser
- Grant all requested permissions when prompted
- Try again in a different browser if issues persist
No Forms Showing
If no forms appear when fetching:
- Log into Kit and verify you have at least one form created
- Go to Grow > Landing Pages & Forms in Kit to create a form
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
Subscribers Not Appearing
If subscribers don’t appear in Kit:
- Check that the integration is still connected (green badge showing)
- Verify the correct form is selected
- Look in Kit’s Subscribers section—filter by the form name
- Check if the subscriber already existed (they’ll be added to the form but not duplicated)
Connection Expired
OAuth connections may expire over time. If your integration stops working:
- Click Update on your Kit integration
- Re-authorize with Kit
- Select your form again
- Save the integration
ConvertKit vs Kit Branding
ConvertKit rebranded to Kit in 2024. If you see references to ConvertKit:
- The integration works the same way
- Your existing ConvertKit account is now a Kit account
- All forms, subscribers, and automations remain unchanged
