Let’s learn how to manage social sets in your Viraly account! A social set is a collection of social profiles. You can organize your account so there are social profiles in different social sets. The reason people might want to do this if if they are managing multiple brands or organizations and want to keep them clearly segmented.
We will learn how to:
- Update your social set
- Add a new social set
- Delete a social set
- Toggle between social sets
Let’s start!
First, you here is the hierarchy of your Viraly account:
- Workspace – your overall account name which holds all social sets. You can change the workspace name in Account Settings > My Workspace.
- Social sets – you can have multiple social sets within your workspace.
- Social profiles – you can have multiple social profiles within each social set.
Add a new social set
To add a new social set, first click on the My Social Sets link from the account dropdown in the top-right-hand-corner.
Next, go to the Social Set Settings tab. From here, you can update your:
- Social set name
- Timezone
- Brand color
Add a new social set
In order to add a new social set, you can simply click on the New Social Set tab from the area you are already in.
Again, you can fill in the same information as before:
- Social set name
- Timezone
- Brand color
Delete a social set
From the same area, click on the My Social Sets tab. From here, you can click on the trash icon for any social set.
Warning: if you delete a social set, it will also delete all of the social profile connections within that social set. Additionally, it will delete all schedule posts, post data, and analytics data for all connected social profiles from that social set.
Toggle between social sets
From the Post Composer area, click on the currently selected social set in the bottom-left-hand-corner.
Next, choose which social set you would like to view. Once selected, it will update the calendar view to be for all social profiles within the newly selected social set.

That’s it! You can now add, update, and delete social sets within your Viraly account.
