Connect your TikTok Business or Creator account to Viraly to schedule videos and photos, manage privacy settings, and track your content performance. This guide walks you through the complete connection process.
Before You Connect
Before connecting your TikTok account to Viraly, make sure you:
- Have a TikTok Business or Creator account — Personal accounts without Creator tools enabled may have limited functionality
- Are logged into TikTok — Log into the TikTok account you want to connect before starting the authorization process
- Have a Viraly account — You need an active Viraly subscription
Connection Steps
Step 1: Open My Social Sets
From your Viraly dashboard, navigate to My Social Sets in the top-right user dropdown menu. Click on the social set where you want to add your TikTok account, or create a new social set.

Step 2: Add a TikTok Channel
Click the + New Social Profile button and select TikTok from the list of available platforms.

Step 3: Review Connection Information
An information dialog will appear explaining the connection process:
- You can connect multiple Business or Creator TikTok accounts to Viraly
- First log into the TikTok account you want to link
- Then grant Viraly permission to access the account
Click Authenticate with TikTok to proceed.

Step 4: Authorize on TikTok
A popup window will open taking you to TikTok’s authorization page. If you’re not already logged in, you’ll be prompted to log in first.
On the authorization page, you’ll see the permissions Viraly is requesting. Review these permissions and click Authorize to grant access.

Step 5: Select Your Account
After authorization, the popup will close and you’ll see the account picker with your TikTok profile. Verify the account details (profile picture, display name, username) are correct and click Connect.

Step 6: Connection Complete
Your TikTok account is now connected! You’ll see your profile appear in the social set with its profile picture and display name.

Required Permissions
When connecting your TikTok account, Viraly requests these permissions:

| Video list | View your published content and analytics |
| User stats | Access your engagement metrics |
Important: You must grant all requested permissions for Viraly to function properly. If you decline any permissions, some of the functionalities will not work and you’ll need to try again.

Troubleshooting
Connection Failed
If the connection fails:
- Check your TikTok login — Make sure you’re logged into the correct TikTok account
- Grant all permissions — You must accept all requested permissions for the connection to succeed
- Try a different browser — Browser extensions can interfere with the popup. Try a private window
- Enable popups — Make sure your browser allows popups from Viraly
“Permissions Not Granted” Error
If you see “Requested permissions not granted”:
- Try the connection again
- When prompted, make sure to authorize all permissions
- Don’t uncheck any of the permission boxes
Some Features Disabled
If certain features (duet, stitch, comments) appear disabled:
- Check your TikTok account settings — these features may be disabled at the account level
- Some features are only available for video posts, not photo posts
- Privacy settings can affect available options (e.g., branded content can’t be private)
Account Shows as Unavailable
If your TikTok profile shows as “Unavailable” in the account picker, it means the profile is already connected to either this or another Viraly account. Each TikTok profile can only be connected to one Viraly account.
