Two ways to update your Viraly password — change it from your account settings while you’re signed in, or reset it via email if you’ve forgotten it and can’t sign in.
Change your password (signed in)
If you’re signed in and you remember your current password, this is the standard way to change it.
- Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of Viraly.
- Select Account Settings from the dropdown.
- Click Security in the left sidebar.
- Under Password, click Change password.
- Enter your current password, then your new password twice.
- Click Save.
Password requirements: at least 12 characters, including one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
Reset your password (locked out)
If you’ve forgotten your password and can’t sign in, reset it via email.
Step 1.
Go to the Viraly sign-in page. Click the Forgot your password? link below the password field.
Step 2.
Enter the email address of the Viraly account you’re trying to reset. Your verification code will be sent to this inbox.
Step 3.
Check your inbox for an email from Viraly with a 6-digit verification code. Copy the code.
Step 4.
Enter the code and your new password, then click Reset password. You’ll be prompted to sign in with the new password.
The same flow works regardless of which method you originally used to sign up — email, Google, or Facebook all share the same underlying account.
Setting a password for Google or Facebook accounts
If you signed up with Google or Facebook and have never set an email password, you can create one any time so you can also sign in with email + password.
- Sign in with Google or Facebook.
- Go to Settings → Security.
- Under Password, click Don’t have one yet? Set via email →.
- Click Send code. Check your email for the 6-digit code.
- Enter the code and choose a new password. Click Set password.
From then on, you can sign in with email and password or with your social provider — both lead to the same Viraly account.
