Month View Overview
Month View displays your posts in a traditional calendar grid, showing all days of the month with posts appearing on their scheduled dates.
What Month View Shows
- 7-column grid: Monday through Sunday
- 4-6 rows: Covering all days of the month
- Post tiles: Colored cards showing scheduled posts
- Post time: Scheduled time displayed on each tile
- Ideas badges: Light bulb icons showing idea counts per day

Week View Overview
Week View displays a time-based vertical schedule with hourly slots, perfect for precise scheduling and avoiding conflicts.
What Week View Shows
- 7-day columns: One column per day of the week
- 24-hour timeline: Vertical hours from 12 AM to 11 PM
- Time slots: Posts positioned at their exact scheduled time
- Current time indicator: Line showing the current time
- Auto-scroll: Automatically scrolls to current time on load

- Avoiding posting conflicts (multiple posts at same time)

Switching Views on Desktop
On desktop, you can switch views using the dropdown in the calendar header:
- Look for the view dropdown button in the calendar header (shows “Month View” or “Week View”)
- Click the dropdown to open the menu
- Select your preferred view
- The calendar instantly updates to the selected view
Dropdown Location
The view toggle dropdown is located in the calendar header, typically next to the period navigation arrows. A chevron icon rotates when the dropdown is open.
Switching Views on Mobile
On mobile devices, there are two ways to switch views:
Method 1: Three-Dot Menu
- Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) in the calendar header
- Select “Week View” or “Month View” from the menu
- The view switches immediately
Method 2: Filters Panel
- Tap the “Filters” button
- A slide-up panel appears
- At the top of the panel, tap the view toggle buttons
- The active view is highlighted in the primary color
Default View Settings
Viraly remembers your view preference and applies it automatically:
Automatic Defaults
- Desktop (screens ≥640px): Defaults to Month View
- Mobile (screens <640px): Defaults to Week View
Preference Persistence
- Your last selected view is saved automatically
- Preference survives page refreshes and browser sessions
- Stored in your browser’s local storage
- Your preference overrides the responsive default

- Click “View Options” in the sidebar (calendar view only)
- A dialog opens with customization settings
